André de Freitas

Critically-acclaimed comedian André De Freitas returns with his second hour of stand-up.
In this new show, André dives into that strange stage of adulthood where your parents stop being parents and start becoming actual humans – messy, emotional, complicated humans.
He talks about uprooting his life to find a new life in America, discovering what race you apparently are in a different country and trying to figure out where you fit in and stumbling through love.
Along the way, he wrestles with the uncomfortable questions that come with growing up but most of us are too embarrassed to say out loud – are we genuinely good people, or just performing goodness for everyone around us?
It's a funny, sharp and surprisingly heartfelt coming-of-age hour about identity, belonging and figuring out who we really are when nobody's watching.
